C Bryant Photography has grown out of my love for creating unique art using my camera. Like many of you, I got my first camera as a young kid. I remember it was a silver and black Kodak Instamatic 104 with a flashcube that turned each time you took a picture! I loved taking pictures with that camera! My first "real" camera was a Pentax ME Super SLR I got in college. After college I took a darkroom class and I haven't looked back since! I started out with color print film and then began shooting slides for my color images because they more accurately recorded the exposure and colors I envisioned when I released the shutter. Backpacking the north Georgia mountains and visiting incredible places with my family only added to my desire to capture the beauty of the world around me. Soon, I set up a darkroom at my house and shot black and white photographs, which are still my favorite, on Kodak Tri-X or T-Max film and developed them in my darkroom. It took me a little longer than many photographers to make the transition to digital photography, and while I do miss film, I really enjoy working with my digital Canon SLR cameras. I also enjoy extending my creativity while working with image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop. I love all types of photography from portraiture to sports to theater to landscapes/cityscapes. I particularly love landscape photography because I feel a certain connection to nature and with that comes a sense of peace. I truly hope you enjoy my gallery images!
